What makes your collars and leads different from other brands?

All of our dog collars, leads, and accessories are handmade in the UK using premium wool tweed, with a strong focus on quality, durability, and timeless design. Each piece is carefully crafted to offer something far more distinctive and long-lasting than typical pet accessories.

Where are your products made?

Every element of our The Tweed Dog range is sourced and handmade in the UK. From the tweed fabric to the final assembly, we are proud to support British manufacturing and traditional craftsmanship.

We are especially passionate about Harris Tweed® — a truly iconic British fabric made using 100% British wool. The entire process takes place in the Outer Hebrides, where the tweed is still woven by hand in the crofters’ own homes using traditional methods passed down through generations.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes — we proudly offer a 12-month guarantee on our products. If you experience any issues with your item, we will repair or replace it with no hassle.

We believe in the quality of our craftsmanship and want you to buy with complete confidence.

How do I choose the right size for my dog?

We provide a simple sizing guide to help you find the perfect fit for your dog. If you’re unsure, please get in touch — we’re always happy to help you choose the right size.

My dog loves swimming — can the collar get wet?

Most definitely.

As a mum to five Cocker Spaniels who could probably find water in the middle of a desert, I can personally answer this one!

When we get home, I simply remove their collars and allow them to dry naturally. If they get particularly muddy or grubby, I gently hand wash them and leave them to air dry.

And don’t forget — all of our collars are covered by our 12-month guarantee. If you ever feel your collar isn’t standing up to your dog’s lifestyle, just get in touch and we’ll happily help.

I have a show I’d love you to attend — how do I get in touch?

The best way is to send us an email with the show details. We’ll check our diary and get back to you as soon as possible.

I bought a collar at a show but need a different size — what should I do?

Not a problem at all. Simply send us an email or give us a call and we’ll be happy to sort it out for you.

I love your products, but would like a different fabric. Is that possible?

We will always do our best to accommodate special requests wherever possible.

We work alongside a number of British mills and kilt makers who help us source particular tweeds and tartans for bespoke orders. However, we only source fabrics from within the UK to remain true to our commitment to British craftsmanship and quality.

Are your products suitable for everyday use?

Absolutely. Our collars and leads are designed not only to look beautiful, but also to withstand everyday adventures — from countryside walks to muddy woodland adventures and seaside swims.

Do you make matching accessories?

Yes — many of our collections include matching collars, leads, and accessories so your dog can step out in style with a coordinated look.

Do you offer bespoke lampshades and cushions?

Yes — we love creating bespoke pieces for your home.

I love your T-shirts and hoodies, but would like something different embroidered on the front. Is that possible?

Absolutely.

We love creating personalised and bespoke embroidered clothing, and we’ll always do our best to bring your ideas to life. Whether you’d like a different dog breed, a custom phrase, initials, or a completely unique design, we’re happy to discuss bespoke embroidery options with you.

What is your delivery time?

As many of our products are handmade or embroidered to order, delivery times can vary slightly depending on the item and the time of year.

We always aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, and most items are typically sent within a few working days. During busier periods or for bespoke orders, delivery may take a little longer — but we’ll always keep you updated along the way.

I’m buying as a gift — is it possible to send it directly to the recipient?

Absolutely.

We’re more than happy to send your order directly to the recipient, making it perfect for birthdays, special occasions, or thoughtful surprises for dog lovers.
